Thanks to Nike for inviting Freestyle Magazine to the Nike Sportswear (NSW) Spring 09 product preview. Held in a cool little Darlinghurst studio we were fortunate enough to be given a sneak peek into Nikes Spring collection. The exclusive range consisted of:

Another highlight of the showing was our good mate Rhys Gordon teaming up with Nike to create an awesome artwork for the new release of the collection, based on the theme - Safari. Well done mate, it turned out awesome!

This is not a new Wu-Tang Clan album! Chamber Music is more of a side project by the group. Some will praise the album for having a more traditional Wu-Tang flavour than 8 Diagrams. This is the new single “Evil Deeds” off the album, which features Ghostface, RZA & Havoc. Listen to it HERE

We are assuming this leaked set of photos are the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2. If this is the case, then Lamborghini’s finally given enthusiasts what they’ve been craving, some raw rear-wheel- drive action, instead of all-wheel drive system as before!
The heart of the vehicle is a 5.2-litre V10 that makes 550 horsepower and does 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. This is helped by a 30 kg overall weight reduction.
These are going to be super rare as only 250 of these babies will be released worldwide so keep your eyes peeled!

After dropping their dope blue look in March, Nixon release two new colorways in their popular Rubber Player model. Various features within the Rubber Player include: 3-hand Japanese quartz movement, custom molded silicone case and band and a diamond. Retailing for $170 USD, both colorways (purple/black) these wont be on the shelves for long!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and for any graff artist this would a beautiful sight. It would almost make you feel like you are in the movie ‘Honey I shrunk the kids’.
Designer Sander Van Heukelom took inspiration from the vast range of caps that graffiti artists use, to design an original and at the same time practical chair.
The chairs were designed for his solo exhibition in Amsterdam titled “The Artistry of the Cap”; the two-piece collection includes the “New York Fat Cap Chair” and the “Hooded Fat Cap Chair”.

C’mon dude, seriously! It is a crime for you to be in this predicament with one of the worlds sexiest women straddling a beautiful Aprilia and you not be in the correct pillion position holding onto all that goodness, like who rides like that anyway!

Jay-Z’s newest track, D.O.A., or Death of Autotune, Jigga attempts to put an end the latest snowballing trend that is effecting rappers across the globe – it is the Autotune disease! Just incase you are unsure of what Autotune is exactly, just think of that voice altering device that is the signature sound of T-Pain, who gets a shout out (well, diss) in the track. “Get back to rap you T-Pain’n too much”
The beat is tight and the lyrics are in classic Hov style, but I gotta say this is straight out murder by Jay-Z as he has even mentioned his boy Yeezy who has jumped on the Autotune bandwagon. Now lets see who puts their pens and pc’s down to challenge the king.

So you missed out on your limited edition pair of Yeezys? Well Filippo Perin has come to the rescue with his paper version of the Nike Air Yeezy. Obviously they don’t carry the same effect but cool none the less. Having already seen various characters and Air Force 1 installations from Filippo, the undoubtedly most hyped shoe release of 09 had to be on the cards.
