The True Automotive Culture Show.
The show that had everyone talking about premiered last April 2007 at Olympic Park Sports Centre.
This innovative event showcased some of the best that Sydney’s modified car scene has to offer such as: ol’ skoolers, juiced up lowriders, mini-trucks, choppers, JDM tuners, exotics plus exhibits from tuning houses and aftermarket automotive parts. Let’s not forget about the performers. The mammoth stage was graced by Australian RnB and Hip Hop performers live, such as Breed, DJ Moto and DJ Peter Gunz as well as lovely ladies competing for the Queen of the Night model search. There was even an international guest, direct for the US, who goes by the name of Lloyd Banks from G-Unit. This show sure delivered, but I guess that’s what you get when you cross a premier car show with Sydney’s funky nightlife, and off course the involvement of Freestyle Magazine
With over 100 top end show cars, some of the highlights included the first Sydney appearance by Queen Street’s new BMW M3 E46 26B quad rotor, Twin turbo. There was an array of 7 award winning lowriders direct from the states doing demos and keeping the crowd well entertained. A collection of custom choppers, as well as the infamous ‘Snake Charmer’ showing of his latest chopper with real snakes wrapped around it! We cannot forget about the exotics from Lamborghinis to Aston martins which had everyone talking. But overall you couldn’t go past Laurie Seguna’s Gemini, aka Mr Sik who stole the event winning ‘BEST OF SHOW’.
